Choosing Good Treadmills

fitness treadmills
One of the most popular and valuable exercise machines around is an exercise treadmill. We need to know some of the advantages and disadvantages before buying a treadmill because it is a very important decision.
There are three types of treadmills that I want to talk to you about, and they are manual treadmills, motorized treadmills and folding treadmills. Some of the advantages and disadvantages of them will be explained here.
Manual Treadmills
The least type of exercise treadmills that you want to you is the manual treadmills. But manual treadmills have an advantage of being light and easier to transport. They are also easier to fold up. And as it is a manual treadmill, the disadvantage is obvious: your feet and legs are the motor to get the belt moving. Furthermore, most of them don’t have and adjustable incline.
I would not recommend for you to get a manual treadmill, even though it is the cheapest type available.
Motorized Treadmills
The motorized treadmill is my personal favorite. Motorized treadmill’s most important feature is the horsepower. For most people a continuous horsepower rating of 1.5 to 2.5 is probably the average amount and sufficient. But you might need just a little more horse power if you’re planning to do a lot of running.
I would also recommend getting a DC electric motor if you like to watch TV while working out. DC electric motor runs quieter than an AC one.
Folding Treadmills
Folding treadmill is also quite neat. A lot of people might need this folding feature as it depends on your spacing. Folding up your treadmill and slide it under your couch is very convenient.
I would recommend getting a folding motorized treadmill for you.
It is the most valuable exercise machine that you can have.
